Christmas is fast approaching and Devon is gearing up for the festive season. From early November to mid-December, there are an array of fantastic Devon Christmas markets across the region.

Offering seasonal food and drink, and gorgeous gifts, the Christmas markets are a perfect place to browse for Christmas presents and immerse yourself in the festive spirit.

Here’s a round-up of the main Devon Christmas markets:

Exeter Christmas Market – Cathedral Green, Exeter

15th November to 16th December

An exciting mix of continental and local, independent traders, showcasing the best of festive food, crafts and gifts.

Okehampton Festive Market – Okehampton town centre

18th, 25th November and 2nd December

Festive stalls throughout the town centre with Devon and Cornwall artisans, crafters and performers.

Christmas Shopping Fayre – Westpoint, Clyst St Mary

23rd to 25th November

Three fun-packed days of festive shopping, all under one roof.

The Donkey Sanctuary Christmas Fair – Sidmouth

24th – 25th November

The sanctuary’s indoor arena will be packed full of talented local traders selling wonderfully unique items, from beautiful gifts and Christmas crafts to delicious edible treats.

Torquay Christmas Market – Torbay Road, Torquay

24th to 25th November

A two-day Christmas Market with over 40 stalls and live music throughout the two days.

Plymouth Christmas Market – Plymouth city centre

29th November to 16th December

The city centre Piazza will completely transform with more than 50 beautiful log cabin style stalls selling unique hand-crafted gifts from the South West and further afield.
