A vintage treat just a short walk from the Royal York & Faulkner Hotel. This autumn, Sidmouth welcomes one of the region’s most nostalgic and vibrant events, the Sidmouth Classic Car Show. Held on Saturday 20 September 2025 at Sidmouth Cricket Club, this much-loved annual gathering fills the picturesque seafront grandstand with a dazzling display of classic vehicles.

The Show
Enjoy free entry as a spectator and savour classic cars, vintage motorcycles, and charming nostalgia all in one place. Alongside the vehicles, there’s live entertainment including a jazz band and the 1940s harmony trio The Liberty Sisters, as well as tea and snacks served throughout the day.

The event takes place in the beautiful setting of Sidmouth Cricket Ground, described as one of England’s most picturesque grounds, with views overlooking the sea. Visitors can easily walk into town between exhibitions, exploring shops, cafés, or returning to our hotel for afternoon tea by the beach.
